Those Georgian doors with the lovely fanlights are just gorgeous! A photogenic city and fresh oysters–Dublin definitely looks worth the trip!

Thanks for all the recommendations. I especially like the Georgian section of town, and will look up the hotel there next time. And you’re right, a tour can help you enjoy the pubs without the need to drive.

I can’t wait to visit Dublin!I’ll now be taking notice of all the beautiful doorways. Driving holidays are great fun but someone always ends up missing some of the view. Insight Vacations sounds like a great alternative.

Dublin looks so pretty, and I can’t believe I haven’t yet visited. What some fabulous door photos. I love the images, but more than that I love the idea of the possibilities, the stories and the real lives which are taking place behind them 😉
