I have neighbors who became my very good friends from Guatemala. We share food between our house hold and I like also to try making or getting ingredients for them that’s hard to find here. Your site was VERY informative! I will be following it and save this article

Thanks for your kind feedback Sandy! I’m so glad you’re a fan of Guatemalan food! We’re usually eating at a family’s house or cooking but some of the restaurants we’ve enjoyed in Antigua include Saberico, Por Que No, the Sunday breakfast buffet at Porta Hotel, fernando’s Kafe for coffee and breakfast, Los tres Tiempos (rooftop).Be sure to try a picocita, the Guatemalan version of a michelada – it comes served in a bag and loaded with chile and lime.Enjoy your time in Antigua!
