In reply to Stacy. Hi Stacy I'll check with our writer on Freeport but in the meantime did you check out our post on Nassau Bahamas? Comfort Suites is a mid-range property that includes breakfast, access to resort amenities at Atlantis and there's excellent snorkeling from shore ( including the Underwater Sculpture Garden) on the west of the island.

As Canadians, trips to the Bahamas are very, very expensive for us. Just wondering if you have any recommendations for accommodations on the island where you can walk to restaurants/beach bars that won’t break the bank? No kids, we love snorkeling, eating and meeting the locals. Cheers!
