I travel to Mexico all the time and NEVER have any problems except getting someone to go with me. Thank you for the tip as this looks like a great and economical (by today’s standards) place to stay.

I’m with you, it’s hard to spend a lot of money when it’s just an airport stopover. I’ve been in two where I really felt like I tool a risk, and one I was up all night because of bugs and dirt in Morocco. Glad you came out on top with clean and safe, It looks like a great airport find!

Hey we actually stayed at this hotel the night before we flew home from Mexico City! We were very impressed, especially as we managed to get a last minute special rate of $65USD! Unfortunately the pool wasn’t open when we were there…did you have better luck?

You’ve talked me into trying Priceline again! We’ve gotten used to closing our eyes and crossing our fingers when booking hotels with a 3-star rating which is usually our budget limit. This hotel looks great and had the things we consider deal breakers if they’re lacking: clean, good Wi-Fi and transportation options or pedestrian friendly.

I’m all for budget accommodation on overnight stops and this one in Mexico looks fresh and clean and spacious. Just right. I’d definitely think about staying there.

I have never had the need to spend the night at the airport in Mexico city, but if I ever do . . . this sounds like a pleasant place at a good price.

It looks like a nice enough hotel, and the room appears to be very spacious – so it seems to be well worth the price. With large chain hotels I often find that the cheaper rooms are the ones which seem to be earmarked for a refurbishment in the near future (so they look “well used”).
