In reply to Marie. Hi Marie Most of the markets in Mexico City ( such as Mercado De Artesanias La Ciudadela) are in the centro area which isn't really near the airport. But you can take the subway or a taxi ( if it isn't rush hour) and it's a relatively quick trip. El Bazar Sabado (an indoor and outdoor artisan market in the beautiful San Angel neighborhood) also has very high quality unique woven goods.

We are just one night in Mexico City and I want to stay in a hotel nearby the airport, close to markets, cause I want to buy some rebozos from the artisan markets. Do you have a recommendation?

I’d go for the Courtyard Marriott. This is really handy for people not familiar with Mexico.

Sometimes the best option is to stay at the airport hotel. I like that you gave three options. I find that I’ll usually go no-frills at an airport hotel since it’s usually a short stay. I’ll definitely consider your recommendation next time we’re in Mexico City.

Great to discover these options when I need a quick overnight in Mexico City. That said anytime I get there I work to extend my stay and get into town for some exploring. It’s one of my favorite cities in the world.

Your photos are recommendations themselves but the Courtyard Marriott Mexico City Airport sounds like it’s ideally located near check-in counters, free shuttle, that’s a lot of convenience for only $125. Good deal!
