The water is so clear and such a beautiful color! I’d be interested in the cultural and spiritual aspects associated with the springs.

Wow, horseback riding in water; I can’t even muster it on land! But it looks like fun. I love the hot springs! I guess they would be more temperate in the winter/spring.

Hi Michele: My first exotic horseback riding adventure was in Ixtapa. the horses were SO small compared to what you usually see in North America, but then, the Mexicans are usually quite a bit shorter than we are, so the smaller horses suit them well. It certainly provides the opportunity to experience something from a very different perspective than you’d otherwise encounter.

The swimming part looks fun :-). But give us a bike, or let us walk instead – Janice is just too scared of horses; they tend to veer off the path and do what they want, including running away, when she’s riding.
