I think the key to Valentine’s Day solo when travelling is to turn it into adventure. That’s what I did in Paris. I forced myself to talk to people, went to sociable places (Shakespeare Book Co.) and ended up having a wonderful time. It might not be so easy in the Caribbean, but if you’re on a girls getaway you’ve got it made, especially with these are fabulous tips.

One of the hardest things for Australians heading to the Caribbean is to know which island to go to. They all look fabulous places to go but I think Curacao might be my first stop! I’ve never done a dive certificate so I love the idea of going on the Aquafari.
